Niedawno pokazywałam Wam prezent dla mojego Męża - zalterowane narzędzia po remoncie, który delikatnie mówiąc nie do końca trafił w jego gust...
Podjęłam wiec wyzwanie i spróbowałam jeszcze raz - tym razem na szczęście się udało!
Na urodziny przemalowałam jeden z jego starych padów do xboxa i szczerze zachwycił go efekt

Mnie osobiście też bardziej się podoba taka wersja, niż oryginalna, a tak naprawdę wystarczyło całość pomalować czarnym gessem, a potem poszaleć z woskami!

Kluczem jest dobór kolorów wosków - najpierw całość pomalowałam pędzelkiem odcieniami niebieskiego, a później już palcem nakładałam kontrastowy Firebird, dzięki czemu udało się wydobyć detale z tła

Naprawdę, może nie wygląda, ale jest to jedna z moich mniej czasochłonnych prac, a efekt mnie osobiście zachwyca!

Hey!
I recently showed you a gift for my Husband - the altered tools after renovation which, to put it mildly, wasn't quite to his taste...
So I took up the challenge and tried again - this time fortunately it worked!
For his birthday I repainted one of his old xbox pads and he was honestly delighted with the result.

I personally like this version better than the original one. In fact it was enough to paint the whole thing with black gesso and then go crazy with the waxes!

The key is to choose the colours of the waxes - I first painted the whole thing with a brush in shades of blue and then used my finger to apply the contrasting Firebird, which helped to bring out the details in the background

Really, it may not look like it, but it's one of my less time-consuming works and the effect delights me personally!
