Pouring jest świetną techniką malarską, w której sama swego czasu bardzo lubiłam malować. Polega na tym, że farbę akrylową mieszamy ze specjalnym medium do pouringu, które przy zachowaniu odpowiedniej proporcji rozrzedza farbę, ale absolutnie nie zmienia jej koloru, pigmentacji, nasycenia oraz właściwości kryjących. Oczywiście nie musisz mieć tego medium by tworzyć w tej technice, ponieważ sama woda Ci wystarczy do rozrzedzenia farby, jednocześnie warto pamiętać, że straci na farby stracą delikatnie krycie. Przygotowując sobie kilka zestawów rozcieńczonych kolorów w jednorazowych kubeczkach, możesz szaleć na podobraziu ile tylko wystarczy Ci wyobraźni. Aby rozprowadzić farbę możesz używać słomek, suszarek, nagrzewnic, ale możesz też po prostu przechylać podobrazie na boki by farba swobodnie ściekała po rantach. Pamiętaj by zabezpieczyć podłogę i założyć fartuch ;-)

Pouring is a great painting technique, in which I used to like to paint very much. It’s all about mixing acrylic paint with a special pouring medium, which, while maintaining the right proportion, dilutes the paint, but absolutely does not change its color, pigmentation, saturation and covering properties. Of course, you do not need to have this medium to create in this technique, because water alone is enough for you to thin the paint. It’s worth remembering  at the same time, that the paints will lose their coverage slightly. By preparing a few sets of diluted colors in disposable cups, you can go crazy on the canvas as much as you imagine. To spread the paint, you can use straws, dryers, heaters, but you can also simply tilt the canvas to the sides so that the paint flows freely on the edges. Remember to protect the floor and wear an apron ;-)

Wracając do samego Journala, na początku zabezpieczyłam kartkę bezbarwnym gesso, potem nałożyłam Impasto przez maskę. Czarną farbą akrylową namalowałam esy floresy, a na sam koniec gdy wszystkie mokre media wyschły przykleiłam papierowe elementy wycięte z arkuszy. W centrum kompozycji znalazła się azjatycka piękność, dookoła której ułożyłam obrazy i malarskie dodatki. Tuszami distress, o dość mokrej formule, ale genialnym napigmentowaniu, nałożyłam kleksy przy pomocy stempli. Z kolorami totalnie poszalałam, bo w końcu chciałam, by wszystko było spójne tematycznie no i mega artystycznie. Tworząc ten wpis w moim Art Journalu nie przypuszczałabym, że użyję tylu wspaniałych produktów, a jednak dałam się ponieść wyobraźni.

Coming back to the Journal itself, I started by securing the card with a colorless gesso, then applied Impasto through the mask. I painted some doodles with black acrylic paint, and at the end, when all the wet media dried up, I glued the paper elements cut out of the sheets. In the center of the composition I put the Asian beauty, and arranged paintings and painterly accessories around her.  With distress inks, with a fairly wet formula, but brilliant pigmentation, I applied blots with stamps. I totally went crazy with the colors, because in the end I wanted everything to be consistent thematically and artistically. Creating this entry in my Art Journal, I wouldn't have imagined that I would use so many great products, and yet I got carried away by my imagination.
