Czy widzieliście już nowy wrześniowy moodboard na stronie Scrapbooking Shop? To właśnie on zainspirował mnie do stworzenia tego projektu.

Głównym elementem mojej pracy są odlewy z nowych foremek Finnabair. Pracę zaczęłam od pomalowania ich farbą Impasto w kolorze Linen. Ciekawostką jest to, że nie trzeba używać gesso przed tą farbą, ponieważ ma doskonałą przyczepność i idealnie pokrywa powierzchnię odlewów. Dzięki temu, że jest super matowa, sprawdzi się w klasycznych i vintagowych projektach.

Po ułożeniu kompozycji dokleiłam kamyczki Art Stones w dwóch rozmiarach, a po wyschnięciu użyłam farb Liquid Acrylic, którymi przepięknie podbarwiłam pracę i stworzyłam rozmyte, akwarelowe tło. A jeśli o tle mówimy, stworzyłam ciekawą teksturę nakładając najpierw pastę modelującą rzez maskę, a następnie szpachelką rozciągając po powierzchni pastę strukturalną.

Na jeszcze mokrą kompozycję posypałam brokat, a po wyschnięciu uwydatniłam wszystkie detale pracy woskami. Użyłam wosków Art Alchemy matowych, ale dodałam również wosk metaliczny White Pearl i wosk antyczny w kolorze Sepii.

Have you seen the new September moodboard on the Scrapbooking Shop website? It was this moodboard that inspired me to create this project.

The main element of my work are castings from the new Finnabair molds. I started by painting them with Impasto paint in Linen. An interesting fact is that you do not need to use gesso before this paint, because it has excellent adhesion and perfectly covers the surface of the castings. Thanks to the fact that it is super matte, it will be perfect for classic and vintage designs.

After arranging the composition, I glued Art Stones in two sizes, and after drying, I used Liquid Acrylic paints, which beautifully colored the work and created a blurred, watercolor background. Speaking of the background, I created an interesting texture by running the modeling paste through the mask, and then spreading the structural paste over the surface with a spatula.

I sprinkled glitter on the still wet composition, and after drying, I highlighted all the details of the work with waxes. I used Matte Art Alchemy waxes, but I also added White Pearl metallic wax and Sepia antique wax.
